What is ArCADia-ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS? ArCADia-ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS is an industry-specific module of the ArCADia BIM system, based on the ideology of Building Information Modeling (BIM). The program can be used to create the professional documentation of internal low-voltage electrical systems. The program is intended for designers of electrical and power equipment systems. The ArCADia-ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS program enables prompt and efficient preparation of electrical and lighting system drawings, as well as the performance of verifications and the calculations necessary for designing. FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM: • NEW: The possibility to generate structural diagrams of power lines for designs of electrical systems. A schematic diagram of the internal power lines between designed switchgears can be easily and quickly generated. • NEW: A symbol view can be replaced for a specific object. The user’s own symbols for designed objects can be freely created. • Drawings of internal electrical systems can be quickly produced on architectural plans, starting from locating distribution panels, assigning the proper technical parameters, arranging sockets, lighting and cable outlets to connect power supply sources with appliances using cables and conductors. • Once an electrical system is designed, the program can be used to calculate short circuit currents and short circuit capacity, load currents (1-f or 3-f) and voltage drops in individual sections of the designed electrical system. • The program can also be used to generate a balance of power - a professional document describing the installed equipment and devices. • The program can also be used to generate the bill of materials used in a design. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PLEASE NOTE: Program requirements: In order to work, all industry-specific modules need a license for: • ArCADia LT or ArCADia 10 or ArCADia PLUS 10 or Autodesk software AutoCAD® 2014/2015/2016/2017 • If an industry-specific module is installed as an overlay for AutoCAD® software, ArCADia AC module is required. What is ArCADia-ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS PLUS? ArCADia-ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS PLUS is an expansion module of the ArCADia-ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS program. The program is intended for the design of cable ducts, ladders and cable channels. It also facilitates communication with the DIALux program, which is used in the designing of lighting fittings. What is ArCADia-POWER NETWORKS? ArCADia-POWER NETWORKS is an industry-specific module of the ArCADia BIM system, based on the ideology of Building Information Modeling (BIM). ArCADia-POWER NETWORKS allows the creation of professional documentation related to the design of external low-voltage power networks. The program enables object-oriented creation of drawings for external power networks in spatial development plans or the preparation of user drawings showing a power network starting from a low-voltage transformer to a distribution panel in a building. FEATURES OF THE PROGRAM: • NEW: The generation of structural diagrams of networks starting from the power source to the final object. The functionality can be used to quickly generate a drawing of the structural diagram of a proposed network, which is necessary for the design documentation. The diagram contains the topology of the proposed network. • NEW: Improvement of technical calculations by the introduction of the duty and impedance factors for the short-circuit loop to the “cable connector” structure, which enables short-circuit calculations of the internal supply line from the cable connector to the distribution board in the building as well as calculations of the load capacity of each section of the designed network. • NEW: The possibility to create survey coordinates in spatial development plans. Once survey points are marked, the user can generate a report on X and Y coordinates in an RTF file. What is ArCADia-DISTRIBUTION BOARDS? ArCADia-DISTRIBUTION BOARDS is an industry-specific module of the ArCADia BIM system, based on the ideology of Building Information Modeling (BIM). The program enables the development of the professional technical documentation required to produce single-line circuit diagrams. The program is designed both for designers of networks and electricity and power systems, as well as for all people working in the electrical engineering industry. The ArCADia-DISTRIBUTION BOARDS program can be used to create a diagram of a designed switchgear or any circuit diagram and perform basic technical calculations. The library of electric device symbols can be used to design an electrical system. Symbols can be edited and assigned technical parameters. Apart from the possibility of producing the diagram of a switchgear in an efficient way, the program can also be used to automatically create the diagram of a switchgear designed using the ArCADia-ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS overlay. The combination of automation algorithms to create the circuit diagrams used in the application and the database of symbols for electric devices and performance of basic calculations ensures a perfect tool for drawing circuit diagrams.
